Abstract: Our purpose is to investigate some properties of (Λ, b)-open sets. Several characterizations of (Λ, b)- extremally disconnected spaces, (Λ, b)-hyperconnected spaces and (Λ, b)-submaximal spaces are established. Es- pecially, several characterizations of (Λ, b)-continuous functions are discussed.
