Abstract: Supply chain flexibility is vital for firms operating in dynamic, technology-driven environments. This study examines how technology integration, workforce agility, supplier relationship management, and operational responsiveness influence flexible supply chains. Grounded in dynamic capabilities theory and adaptive supply chain management, the study develops a framework linking organizational strategy to supply chain agility. Data were collected through a survey of 244 professionals from manufacturing and distribution firms in Bangladesh and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. Results show that technology integration and supplier relationship management significantly enhance supply chain flexibility, while workforce agility is the strongest predictor of operational responsiveness. However, operational responsiveness does not significantly mediate the relationships between the explanatory variables and supply chain flexibility. The findings suggest that flexibility depends more on strategic managerial capabilities than responsiveness alone. This study contributes by integrating technological, human, and relational capabilities within a predictive model for emerging-market supply chains.
