Abstract: In this paper we propose a completely new solution in which the diesel generator is replaced by a gas turbine that drives a dual stator winding induction generator (DSWIG), which can operate in a wide range of speeds, thus enabling maximization the efficiency of the gas turbine utilization according to the power requirements of the critical supply network.
