Abstract: This paper focuses on the optimization of an imperfect maintenance policy with human factors of aircraft components. A nonlinear stochastic programming model is established to maximize the availability of components. The existence conditions of the optimal preventive maintenance interval are derived, and the effectiveness of the proposed model is verified through a number of examples.
