Abstract: This study examines the challenges of intellectual security among Iraqi youth in the context of rapid digital transformation. The spread of social media and modern communication technologies has reshaped how young people interact, learn, and form beliefs, but it has also exposed them to ideological risks and extremist influences. Using a descriptive social survey of 200 participants aged 15–30 from youth and sports forums in Baghdad; the research explores how digital tools affect youth identity, cultural values, and intellectual stability. Findings indicate that excessive use of digital platforms contributes to moral and intellectual vulnerability, while educational awareness and institutional guidance play crucial roles in strengthening intellectual security. The study concludes with recommendations to enhance the role of youth centers in promoting safe digital engagement.
