Application of ICT for Energy Efficiency Analysis of a Public Building

Abstract: This article provides a review of research in the field of building energy efficiency and the implementation of digital technologies for its determination and improvement. Based on modern simulation, numerical and information technologies, a 3D model of an existing building was created and assessed for compliance. The digital model of the building is processed in two different libraries in order to evaluate the energy efficiency parameters of the building. The results of that processing show that the building has low efficiency and needs repair and reconstruction. An approach to improving efficiency by leveraging the latest trends in IoT, Smart Control, and communication technologies was considered. A conceptual IoT system was proposed to ensure intelligent management of energy capacities.
