Abstract: The study objects for determining whether total quality management practices affect the performance of smart supply chain, and to determine whether leadership style mediates the effect relationship of TQM practices on smart supply chain performance. A questionnaire consisting of 36 items had developed and administered to a sample consisted of 87 respondents among the employees of different administrative levels and positions of the manufacturing industry of Jordan. Using the simple and the multiple linear regression methods in data analysis and hypotheses testing, the results showed that total quality management practices have a significant impact on smart supply chain performance. In addition, the results demonstrated that leadership style mediates the impact of total quality management on smart supply chain performance. More studies regarding the mediating role of leadership in the relationship between total quality management, and supply chain management, are recommended to be among the future prospective of academics, practitioners, and others interested.
