Abstract: With the rapid development of society and the increasing complexity of the job market, the employment issue of college students has emerged as a focal point. To stand out in this competitive landscape, professional skills are essential, yet professional maturity plays a more pivotal role. This article selects college students in Hainan Province as the research cohort, constructing a multidimensional model to explore the intricate relationship between career maturity and employability. Findings from the questionnaire survey reveal that career maturity exerts a significant positive impact on employability, with mediating effects of career decision-making self-efficacy and moderating effects of social support. Notable differences are also identified across student demographics, including gender, grade levels, and only-child status. These research outcomes offer valuable guidance for formulating strategies to enhance students' employability in practical terms.
