Features of the Isotopic Distribution of Uranium on the Border of Polar and Non-polar Environment
Authors: , ,
Abstract: The kinetics of the extraction process of $$UO_{2}(NO_{3})_{2}$$∙2TBP complexes has been studied in a heterogeneous system. In the process of adsorption, $$UO_{2}(NO_{3})_{2}$$∙2TBP complexes are formed at the vertical border of the 5.6 M $$HNO_{3}$$ polar solution and the solid surface of nonpolar polypropylene $$(C_{3}H_{6})_{n}$$. Kinetics of the extraction process of $$UO_{2}(NO_{3})_{2}$$∙2TBP complexes is described by the pseudo-first-order Yerofeyev- Kholmogorov and pseudo-second-order Ho and McKay models.
