Fees or Article Processing Charges

Authors cannot add additional co-authors after receiving the
acceptance notification for publication. WSEAS does not accept new
authors or changes to author names after the review process or once a
paper has been accepted. This policy is in place due to concerns
regarding the ethics and methodology of research. There are online
groups and social media platforms where authorship in accepted papers
can be purchased, and WSEAS does not wish to be associated with such
practices in academic publishing.
Additionally, there is a maximum page limit of 10 pages per article.
For articles exceeding this limit, a fee of 60 euros per additional
page will be charged. This fee is necessary to cover the extra
workload for WSEAS staff involved in editing and proofreading articles
in English.
In some of our newer journals, we can offer discounts or even waive
the fees. However, this does not apply to journals established before
2010. From 2002 to 2021, most WSEAS journals did not impose any fees
or Article Processing Charges (APCs), despite being Open Access since
January 1, 2007. However, after 2021, WSEAS introduced fees and APCs.
Over 50% of authors in WSEAS transactions have published their papers
without paying any APCs.
Requests for minor corrections after online publication—such as those
related to language, figures, or formatting—will be reviewed by a
Managing Editor and our Secretariat. Corrections resulting from issues
not caused by the WSEAS Secretariat or WebMaster will incur a fee of
100 EUR per page.
Requests for major corrections after online publication—such as those
related to the scientific content or references—will be forwarded to
the Editor-in-Chief for review. The decision may lead to approval for
corrections (following peer review) or rejection. If approved, a fee
of 100 EUR per page will also apply.
For Articles that will be uploaded after March 25, 2022, the APCs are as follows

Authors who submit papers to a WSEAS journal agree to the following terms:
1.Authors cannot add co-authors after receiving the acceptance notification for publication. WSEAS does not accept new authors or changes to author names after the review process or once a paper has been accepted. This policy is in place to uphold the ethics and integrity of research. WSEAS does not wish to be associated with practices in academic publishing where authorship may be purchased through online groups or social media platforms.
2.The maximum page limit for each article is 10 pages. Articles exceeding this limit will incur a fee of 60 euros per additional page. This fee helps cover the extra workload required for editing and proofreading by WSEAS staff.
3.All papers must be submitted via our electronic submission platform. To submit your paper, locate the relevant journal or conference on our website and follow the instructions to upload your manuscript.
4.Only original research is accepted. Submitting a paper to WSEAS confirms that the manuscript has not been published or concurrently submitted elsewhere, including other WSEAS publications.
5.Abstracts or draft versions will not be accepted. Ensure that your paper is final and fully completed before submitting.
6.All papers must adhere strictly to the format specified on the journal or conference website to which the submission is made.
7.Authors acknowledge that all papers undergo peer review by 3-5 independent reviewers, and all reviewer comments must be addressed by making the necessary revisions.
8.Copyright for all articles published in WSEAS journals is retained by the authors.
9.By submitting a paper, the author certifies that they have obtained permission from all co-authors listed in the manuscript to submit it.
10.Revised versions of journal or conference papers will only be accepted before the Editor-in-Chief declares the paper as 'camera-ready.' Any revisions submitted after this date will not be considered.
11.Authors must ensure that all reference details are complete and accurate according to the data provided. All references must be cited within the article; otherwise, they will be removed by the reviewers. Authors must avoid plagiarism and refrain from using text generated by Artificial Intelligence.
12.Submission of a paper implies that authors are willing to edit their paper as many times as necessary to ensure the article’s readability.
13.All papers must be submitted in English.
14.By uploading the article, the author transfers the right to publish the paper to WSEAS.
15.Articles may be uploaded to institutional libraries and repositories, provided that proper citation is given in accordance with the publisher’s guidelines. In this case, the "Certification of Peer Review" will be signed by the Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor.
16.Articles of exceptional quality and significance may be published without a publication fee and without requiring the submission of a revised version, provided all three reviewers agree. In such cases, the "Certification of Peer Review" may be signed by the Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor.
17.Articles related to critical topics such as significant diseases, important drugs, major engineering challenges, innovations in finance (e.g., cryptocurrencies), mathematical problems, essential algorithms, or other important topics as determined by the Associate Editor may be published without a publication fee and without requiring a revised version, provided all three reviewers agree. This information will not be shared with any other individuals or email addresses.
22.Paper withdrawal is not allowed after the review process has been completed.
23.Authors are encouraged to include their ORCID ID, if applicable, in the affiliations section of their paper.
24.Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, which allows anyone to download and read the paper for free. The article may also be reused and cited, provided the original published version is credited. This license maximizes the work’s exposure and ensures authors receive proper attribution.
25.Authors may not publish more than three manuscripts in a single volume (i.e., within the same journal in one year).
