BIO:Prof. Nikolaos Loukeris is Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of West Attica since 2020, Supervises internships in Athens at the Princeton University, Visiting Professor at the Hellenic Open University in the Postgraduate dept. of Shipping, Adjunct Professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business, dept. of Accounting & Finance. He has lectured at the Universities of Maryland UMUC, of Macedonia, of Crete, of Cyprus, of Greenwitch, of South Wales, Naval and Police Academies of Greece. His work has been awarded many times. He has 24 journal publications, 53 international peer reviewed conferences, 1 book monography, 4 chapters in collective volumes. He has undergone 2 European projects. He owns PhD (2015) on Financial Engineering in Computational Intelligence-University of Macedonia, Greece, was Doctorate Research Associate-Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece, (2015-16), dept. Accounting and Finance also Doctorate Research Associate, Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, (2014-15), dept. Electrical and Computer Engineers, supervisor Professor Y. Boutalis, and Graduate Researcher on Artificial Intelligence in Finance-Technical University of Crete, Greece (2009-2012), dept. of Electronics and Computer Engineering, he also holds a MSc in Computational Finance-University of Essex, UK, (2008), MPhil in Engineering Management-Technical University of Crete, (2005A), Degree (Ptychio) in Economic Sciences-University of Crete, Greece (2000A), Integrated Masters with Degree (Ptychio) Mechanical Engineering specialised in Production Engineering and Management-Technical University of Crete, (1995).
